The immensely popular and reliable LOOP Evotec reel series continues its incredible evolution with a sleek, updated design and several upgraded features.

The G5 is the fifth generation member of the family, and a worthy successor to the much loved G4. Like its predecessor, it remains very much the workhorse among all fly reels.

This latest incarnation features a new brake knob system with thought-through design that will increase your control over the brake, even with cold fingers. We’ve also introduced a new spool cap – which provides much better grip for spool changes – and enhanced the overall strength of the frame
